Tuesday Tea: What are your favorite bookshops (or other bookish to-dos) in New York City?
Literary travel might be the best travel
In our recent podcast episode New York City: NO! SLEEP! TILL BROOKLYN!, we shared Mel’s imaginary itinerary for one great bookish day in New York (including stops at P&T Knitwear, Word Brooklyn, and Paulie Gee’s for a slice because book shopping makes us hungry.)
And/but there are more than 250 bookshops in NYC — The Ripped Bodice! Bonnie Slotnick Cookbooks! The Mysterious Bookshop! Drama Book Shop! — and enough literary landmarks, bars, hotels, museums, and libraries to keep us all bookishly busy for decades.
The new Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library on 5th Avenue is fun to explore. The rooftop terrace is a great place to sit with a coffee from the cafe and people watch or read.

I've never been to NYC, but hopefully, I can check it off my travel list next year. Until then, I can't wait to read all the recommendations in this thread. :)
