A definitive yes to Lucy Foley and The Guest List - such a great (and very Irish) book!

Oh man...I love Boxty. I think I need to go to Ireland to get some! It has never been quite as good in restaurants as what my mom and aunt used to make. It was in the Friday night rotation, you know, no meat. We had boxty with eggs. My mom was always a bit irked when I'd ask for a third pancake but hadn't touched my eggs. My non-Irish Catholic friends always used to ask if we were poor...don't hink we were rich but we would've eaten that regardless. Maybe it my Irish but I just love potatoes all ways except potato salad!

Six great books set in Ireland and not one written by Tana French?

Your comment is the explanation of why we didn't write about (the awesome) Tana French. It feels like everyone already knows about her thrilling books, and we think our job is to introduce people to authors/titles that might be new to them.

And if you haven’t watched Bad Sisters yet (Apple TV+), it is REALLY good, set in glorious Ireland, and definitely has a SSoP!
