Have so much fun! Things I highly recommend from our recent visit, if you have any time in your itinerary:
- the 4-course menu at Al A Biche Au Bois - https://alabicheaubois.fr/ - It's a neighborhood-y bistro where they treat you like regulars and the food is awesome
- the Dolce & Gabbana exhibit at the Grand Palais. The fashions are stunning, but even more, I loved the fully immersive exhibit itself. Just amazing and inspiring and fun. https://paris.dolcegabbanaexhibition.com/en/
- whether or not you go to the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais has a gorgeous garden. It's free and a soothing balm in the middle of Paris mania. Absolutely beautiful.
- the free Victor Hugo museum in the Place des Vosges was weird and unexpectedly super fun. We just wandered in to get out of the rain and it charmed us.
- the best croissants EVER from Moon Bakery 40 Bd Beaumarchais. They only make 300 croissants per day. It takes them 3 days to make them. They are buttery, crisp, light perfection. The shop opens at 8:00 and they usually run out around 10. Well worth the trip, and that's a fun neighborhood... near the Place de la Bastille and Gare de Lyon. They're closed Monday and Tuesday.
