I read the entire ‘A Narwhal and Jelly Book’ series with my kids and somehow still thought they were a magical, made up creature. Eventually my kids set me straight.
It's so good! And how TERRIBLE is the mother. Just awful to the end. I loved that the author didn't soften that at all. Felt very true to real life. I'm excited to read the new one, too! —Mel
Did you know there are still two places left in NYC that sell a slice of pizza for a dollar? Inflation has forced virtually every other shop to up their price. But two pizza stands across the street from each other are refusing to blink before their competition!
Also, of course narwhals are real! Where do you think unicorns came from?

Also, I would like a t-shirt with ‘Ink Drinker’ printed across it.

Another great episode - thanks, Mel and Dave! I'll start my NYC reading project with with "Manhattan Beach". :-)

I love the idea of warring/collaborating $1 slice shops. Romeo and Juliet, but make it pizza.
