I'm on Team Candy Corn.

My favorite other candy is Baby Ruth bars - they are harder to find out and about.

We recently visited Bruges, Belgium, and it ruined me because we purchased pounds and pounds of dark chocolate and now it's all I can think. Hey, maybe, I should start a new Substack just about that and people can pay me in Belgian dark chocolate!

Definitely hard to limit chocolate purchases in Bruges.

Oh, Belgium. So much deliciousness. Chocolate, frites, waffles, ale, cheese… We ate our way across the country and loved every minute of it.

I like most of the chocolate options. And I actually like the little bars because I can eat different kinds -it's less commitment than a full-sized bar. I love anything with dark chocolate. I am fully thumbs-down on candy corn. Yuck.

I like to get mixed bite sized candy bars: Mounds, Almond Joy, Special Darks, Crunch, Snickers, Mars, etc. My favorite candy bar is Payday, full size, though. (I saw where someone liked to mix candy corn and peanuts, but you might just as well go all out and get a Payday.) I am not a fan of candy corn. It ranks right down there with Peeps. I also love Baby Ruth, full size, as someone else mentioned.

Anything with caramel! That's my favorite, hands down. Milky Way, Twix, Caramello....anything like that. I also love sour fruity/chewy candy, so Sour Patch Kids are a winner for me. Then there's the chewy candies I like: twizzlers, tootsie rolls (ever had the fruit or vanilla flavors? So good!), and gummi candy. I like candy corn but like others commenting here, I usually eat too much and regret it later! Happy Halloween!!

I really like all chocolate: white, milk, and dark. For traditional Halloween, I also like the peanut butter cups-especially after freezing. We have a really lovely chocolatier in our town and I love their Belgian milk chocolate bars with candied violets. That is a special treat.

I love candy! Practically all candy. Chocolate candies are my favorite but what was most fun on Halloween when I was a kid was getting a huge variety, including the ones I'd never pick at the candy store. Like Skittles - I enjoyed them once a year! I admit candy corn was bottom of the barrel for me 😂 but I'd eat it because sugar is sugar.

I am on team candy corn - I love it! And while I do eat a lot of chocolate, I don’t like milk chocolate. So, most Halloween candy isn’t interesting to me. However, Junior Mints are a favorite, the little boxes are a perfect post-lunch sweet!

Reeses, or any chocolate that doesn't have a wafer middle. And I do like candy corn, although I can't eat too much at one time.

I can be a snob and say I would really love some fancy truffles or some chocolates from Kona Hawaii. But my go to really is Hershey’s milk chocolate bars any size. I also like Malo Cups. I used to love candy corn as a kid but not so much now.

I love candy corn but I always eat too many and then feel sick from all the sugar - I never learn! I also love snickers and milky way, and anything with marshmallows and/or chocolate.

Reese's Peanut Butter cups or Twix are my favorites. Candy corn is an abomination. Hard no.

I do like candy corn, but when I want something sweet, I'm trying to make it a little healthier (not that sugar is ever a health food!). So, I discovered Equal Exchange dark mini chocolates. They're individually wrapped pieces that are at most a 2-bite piece. You can buy them in 150-piece boxes, or, I buy bags of 288 pieces. I pack bags of them when going to sell to customers to share while we write orders, or to take to the UPS guys who are so helpful, or to friends, or the naturopath when I get a B12 shot. It's just a nice, little and unexpected, treat, and it's easy to enjoy a piece without a whole bar sitting in a drawer after I take a couple of bites.
